Role Models/Mana Wāhine
'Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini.'
Thank you for visiting the Toa Auahi Kore/ Mana Wāhine Role Model service page of our website. It is with regret that we inform you we are no longer able to provide funding of this service for community events. However, we will continue to profile and utilise the Toa Auahi Kore role models in national Auahi Kore campaigns.
Nonetheless, Te Hotu Manawa Māori would still like to support your event and we can assist in these ways;-
- Bookings can continue to be made through THMM for Toa Auahi Kore/ Role Models at the requesting agency’s/providers expense and subject to the Role Models availability. If required, all travel and accommodation needs must also be meet by your organisation. The role model will provide your organisation with an invoice on completion of the event. All correspondence will continue to run through THMM. A seven (7) week notification period prior to your event is still required for booking.
- Provide resources to support your event.
Alternatively, you could approach your local DHB or PHO with your request for a Role Model and they may be able to provide some support.
